  • Meet and Greet -

    Tuesday, May 11

The Circular Design Lab is taking part in #BKKDesignWeek! Our first event will feature a bit of the CDL's backstory and purpose, as well as sharing from some of our community members. We'll then break out into small discussion groups where everyone will have the chance to connect, share, and talk about what the CDL community might do next (among other things).

  • Systems Innovation Design 101-

    Part A

    Thursday, May 13

What is Systems Innovation and why does it matter when it comes to climate action and social justice? In this two part workshop series participants will learn how and why systems change can be leveraged from the community itself.

The Circular Design Lab has been leveraging a systems approach since 2019 to tackle complex challenges such as waste, air pollution, unsustainable fast fashion, plastics and food systems. Come curious and ready to open up a whole new world of possibilities while meeting more like minded folks who are interested in making an impact.

This interactive workshop will be delivered in 2 parts:

    • Part A (May 13) will focus on several core concepts, including ideas that underpin systemic design from systems thinking, the circular economy, and donut economics in an interactive format. This one-hour session will give you something to build on in the next session in June.

    • Part B (June 19) will add new ideas while giving you the chance to practice what you learn and start digging in on a challenge with a small group of participants.

(Note: It's not required to attend both sessions to take part, but doing so is recommended as the content is designed to be complementary.)
